My family has been coming here for years to this specific location. And we are all greatly pleased with the work they've done to our cars throughout these years. They care about the customers and the cars. Prices are affordable. With the economy today, they make it really easy for our budget. Who would pass a great affordable deal?! When something is needed, we come to the shop and they go through what needs to be fixed. Which is very helpful. I recommend this shop to everyone I know and those that I have recommended it to, agrees to it as well. Whatever it is that you need they will try their utmost best to help! And in most cases you can take your car home the same day! Depending what work needs to be done. They also lend you a car for the day if they need to keep your vehicle for awhile. Mas Masuda. Thank you so much for your hard work all these years. We wouldn't go anywhere else :)

This place is the only place I trust my cars. Every time I go they give me a fair price, fix it right and never try to sell me something I don't need. I tell all my friends that have a Honda or Toyota to go here. Best service around!

Finding a trustworthy and honest mechanic is hard these days, so Tokyo Automotive is really a gem. My family has been taking our cars here for years for maintenance, oil changes, or whenever our check engine lights come on. The people working here all have great integrity and are not looking to rip you off... They are honest and straight forward about what you car needs and what the problems are. If they need to replace anything, they will first show you where the broken pieces are on your car, quote you, give you their honest recommendations (as to whether it should be replaced now or later), then replace it and give you the old broken pieces if requested. Overall, the best maintenance shop I've ever been to. I recommend all my friends and family to go here if they are looking for a mechanic.

You must know three professions, which are physician, attorney and a mechanic, to survive in US. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic, here is the one! I have brought my car to this repair shop over 5 years. Mas is a very honest and does not tell a lie. You can trust him fully. Before I came to this shop, I was taken advantages from other shops because I don't know anything. Since I started to bring a car to shop, I has never been dissatisfied of their service. Just try this shop once! You will be happy!

On tuesday, on the way to OC from Santa Clarita, i got into a pretty bad car accident. My front end was smashed far enough that the cooling block, the radiator and the fan were all on top of each other. I freaked out and panicked and babied the car down to my dads in OC where he said we would do what we can. He took one look at it and said the truck was done but that we would take it in. This place doesn't look the best, i was hesitant but they looked at it, didn't think they could fix it but said they would. They explained my brakes had gone out and that would need to be fixed. They were honest, saying that they didn't know if it was fixable but that they would pull it all apart and see. I came back 24 hours later.... No joke, 24 hours... and the truck was in the bodyshop next door where Carlos was working on it.. They asked if i was ready for the verdict and as i sat there and cried, the truck started. Carlos had been offering to buy the truck during the whole affair in the event that i wanted to total it but i didn't. My truck has some pretty powerful emotional story too it and i wasn't ready to say goodbye and i didn't have to. The ending damage was only $621 and was including the body work, a full new brake pad set, 2 new rotors, the fluids for the radiator, oil, brake fluid, and a ton of other stuff. They spent time and talked to me about the better care i need to do for my vehicle and that if i want to fix the front bumper, it can be ordered and done as the bumper wasn't fixable by any means. 24 hours after my accident i was able to drive my truck home back to santa clarita. It sounds great, and it's running very well. There are still some things that need to be done but they saved what was for sure a totaled vehicle. They always say that sometimes your parents know best and in this case, my dad knew something i would of never guessed. I am very grateful for the work that Mas and Carlos did and to have my truck back. Thank you.. I will be back soon.

I was looking for a place to fix my daughter's 2003 Toyota Echo. My problem is I live like 3,000 miles away. So I spent some time reviewing all the shops that was close to Biola University where my daughter goes to school. This place is located in a U shape complex with other car repair and auto body shops. It is not impressive outside and their waiting area is a card table with chairs around it that also serves as the employee break area...all within the confines of the garage. DON'T JUDGE this book by its cover. The mechanics and the owner are all Japanese and everything everybody said about them is true. Very reasonable and knowledgeable. They know customer service. I have taken my share of cars to various repair shops in the past and it is rare that I trust someone the first time around but there is no bull here...just good honest work and service. You can't ask for better than that. I had put these guys on a rush (I was getting on a plane to go home) and they had two hours to cram some work in and they got it done in the nick of time (more credit to them for the rush job and bad for me for trying to cram everything in for a short visit to my daughter). Later they did her brakes and he was able to do with me over the phone (and 3,000 miles away). While there were other shops in the area that looked like they would be ok, I trust these guys. Nobody who wrote anything on here about here is stretching the truth. This summer, my daughter is working in North Hollywood...and guess where she is taking her car? (It's an hour south of where she is at). When someone is fair, treats you right, gives you great customer service and doesn't take advantage of you by overcharging, why wouldn't you be loyal to them? Now I am afraid I did a disservice to my daughter because all of you are going to bring your cars there and it will be next to impossible to get an appointment now. Dang...should have kept this a secret!

This is practically the only place left that provides old-fashioned customer service. I thought my 1994 Accord was a lost cause but Tatsu managed to resurrect the car from the grave and keep it running past 250K. I have known Tatsu for 25 years and I absolutely vouch for his integrity. He has always treated me fair and I know he will treat you with the same respect.

Wow, nice people they got there. They are all Japanese mechanics. I made a phone call about my engine light being on. Then the shop owner told me to come to his shop so that he can see what is engine light is for. When I went there: He asked what does the car do? Then he hooked machine to check what the problem. He said it's free no charge to check. (dealer ship told me $225 to check what engine light means) The service is so good that I have no idea how to explain it. They actually shuttle you to wherever you want to go if it is close by (they do not have clean shuttle car but as long as you get to destination, i think that's all it matters) I spent about $255 for my engine light to be fixed. They also handed to me replaced(old) parts to show what they changed. This shop is good for: -!!Every one!! -Japanese native speaker -want to try/practice your Japanese Over all: Service was great!! Thanks!!
