About Tokyo Automotive Repair
Tokyo Automotive owner Masahiro Masuda and his partner, Akio Tsuchida, immigrated to the U.S. from Japan back in the 1970s, bringing with them their expert automotive technical skills. They opened the first Japanese car specialist shop here in Orange County in 1978. Both Masahiro and Akio have experience directly from training with Toyota in Japan and have learned that professional car care starts with skillful attentiveness and proper knowledge.
A car is unable to cry out in pain like a child does when it visits the doctor. Both owners understand this and, for this reason, they know that attention to small details when it comes to automobiles is the basis for proper diagnostics and maintenance. This drives their passion for the automotive industry and collaborating with their clients through effective vehicle maintenance education.
Now with over 41 years in business, their passion has been passed down to their sons, Naohito Masuda and TatsuTsuchida, who continue to carry on the traditions of the business in Buena Park and Placentia respectively. Naohito has been around the shop since he was 8 years old and has developed an ardent desire to help people through the care of an important function of everyone's daily lives - their cars.
